Meet the founders
Michael Santos is the founder and Co-editor of Reporti.
Michael has been Journalist in the Philippines for more than 25 years. He started as a student journalist in the late 1990’s for Manila Bulletin Youth and Campus section under Ivy Lisa Mendoza.
In 1996, He become a Manila Chronicle correspondent and writes new stories from different Manila Newspapers like Diario Uno, Philippine Tribune and a Radio Mindanao Network Radio reporter for 5 years. As well as foreign correspondent for Demotix News wire and GMA 7 covering news and current affairs in New Zealand and Australia.
Michael is also a member of Australia Institute of Professional Photographer (AIPP) and Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA)
Mimi Rojo Laurilla is co-founder and Social Media Gurus of Reporti
She is a writer, admin coach, teacher and speaker. She has worked in a number of industries over the span of 24 years of her professional life. She had a career as a lecturer/ university professor both in public and private tertiary institution settings whilst taking on administration roles both in the Philippines and in the United States of America. After her long stint in the academia, she moved to an office role within the health sector in New Zealand.
She is currently Program Coordinator for an organisation in Australia specialising in disability support and aged care where she trains and supports people with disabilities who want to be public speakers, whilst coordinating a small gardening enterprise also for people with disabilities.
Outside of her day job, she is an e-course creator, a piano teacher, an English tutor, and now a book writer as well.
She is mum to three teenagers Jana, Jared and Julia, and devoted wife to husband Jarvis. The family live in Melbourne Australia with their pet bunny Dipper.

Mark Frederick Abejero Jereos is the Middle East Bureau Chief Photo Editor of Reporti.
Mark has had over 7 years of experience as a Freelance Photographer for various Magazines, and Newspapers across UAE and Manila. He was recently finalist for the 2018 Hamdan International Photography Award.
He is most known for series of pictures titled ‘’Homeless’’ which was featured in the Digital Photographer Philippines
